Students are encouraged to read in French and English as much as possible.

 

 

Raz Kids - ebook subscription

I would just like to let you know of a Website Resource for reading offered to the grade 4’s.  Raz Kids is a website that consists of eBooks and eQuizzes at specific reading levels in English.  Students can move up the reading levels as they practice and progress.  Each story comes with reading comprehension questions at the end.  You can access this resource on a mobile device by downloading the Kids A-Z app from the app store. (Data rates may apply.)  

 

Here are the Login Instructions:

 

Step 1: Go to www.raz-kids.com

Step 2:  Click on the green box that says KIDS LOGIN

Step 2: Enter or choose the teacher's username, Gourley4G

Step 3: Your child finds his or her username on the class chart,

Step 4: Your child enters his or her password.

Hot lunch

Instructions are as follows:

1.  Goto the Hot Lunch website in any web brower:  https://ecolecampbelltown.hotlunches.net/

2.  Login using the following credentials, using your own firstname and lastname:

username:  firstname.lastname (i.e. john.doe)
password: firstname.lastname (i.e. john.doe)

The username and password are currently set to be the same value.  You can change your password at anytime after logging in via the PASSWORD/LE MOT DE PASSE menu.

3.  Place orders for any available hot lunch or fundraiser.  All payments can be made via credit card on the website.

Please email the hot lunch committee (anjana.rajan@gmail.com) or submit a support request via the hot lunch site if there are any questions or issues with logging in or placing orders.

School Fundraiser - 2020

The Parent Council is very excited to be partnering with the Save On Foods Wye Road loacation for a new school fundraiser.  Simply shop at the Save On Foods Wye Road loacation  and save your receipts.   

Students can hand in the receipts April 30 and June 19, 2020.  

Save On Foods Wye Road loacation will reimburse the school for 5 % of the total pruchases that are submitted from our student families.   Only original receipts can be submitted.  No photocopies allowed.  

March 2, 2020

1.  Field trip form - Tintamarre - needs  to be signed and returned

2.  Multiplication tests were handed back today - please sign and return

3. Science quizzes that have not yet been signed and returned:  Isabella, Haiven, Keeley, Asche, Layla, Aria, Kian, Gavin, Oliver 

4. Wednesday is early dismissal  and spirit day (space day) no hot lunch Wednesday

5. Thursday is the Winter Carnival - students need to dress for the weather as we will be participating in many outdoor activities  

6.  Reminder: students need to have a pencil sharpener and pencils

March 4, 2020

1.  Carnaval tomorrow - dress for the weather:  Boots, mittens, coats, tuques, snowpants

2.  Monday - Tintamarre  - We will be leaving the school at 12:30 and returning by the end of the day.  Students need to dress appropriately - we will be outside most of the afternoon.

March 5, 2020

1.  Monday - Tintamarre -  Please dress for the weather.

Students are permitted to bring noise makers

 (no instruments that play notes)

4.  Sign and return math quizzes:  Rhiannon, Michael, Haiven

 

 

March 9

1.  Math- a thon information sheet (green) was handed out today. Math-a-thon will be happening until March 16.  There will be a sheet with questions each day this week to complete.  Bring back completed trains the next day.

1.  Math train sheets for math-a-thon will be given out daily to complete if students would like to participate.

1.  Math-a-thon - please bring any fundraising money, forms and the last page of trains to school Monday if you are participating

2.  Practice multiplication and division math facts
